the rest of the weekend

the weekend was pretty good. i know i already talked about most of it.

Saturday night i ended up going to a party with mike's friends from work. I have met and hung out with several of them before, so it was pretty cool. Most of them are pretty neat. no complaints really. Had a decent time, although some parts were super akward. oh well.

Sunday, mike and i did his taxes, then went to his place and watched the kings vs timberwolves game. that was neat. got to play with mac a bit (the little puppy at mike's place). After that we just watched tv and hung out. Later we went and got gelato vera which was VERY good, and very free. mm. After that we went back to my place and watched lost in translation. we had started it before but never finished. i agree it was an original screenplay, but it wasnt really anything special, i thought.

i went to sleep around 1am or later and woke up at 6am to get dressed for my first day at my new job and to go with mike to drop his rental car off. after that, we went back to his place and i slept for 45 mins. then i went to my first day of my new job.

i really like the job, and i really hope i can keep it. the people seem neat. I dressed sorta casual because i really dont have much to wear that is nice work style. but one girl there had a lip ring so i doubt my tattoo will be a problem. which is nice. i need new work clothes though and am thinking about going out tomorrow night and finding some.

on sunday, a group member reminded the rest of my group that we have a big thing due on TUESDAY that we all totally forgot about. So tonight, i will be working on that. Maybe with my group, but if not, i will be alone working on it.

mike has my car right now, which makes me nervous, because its my new car. but i have to admit, he IS a better driver than i am. but then again, most people are, or so i hear.

im really tired and just want to go to sleep. at least get a coffee, but my boss is at a class right now and wont be back until 4, which is too late to get one. I am not sure if i am staying at school until 7 to work on that project or i should go to mike's and then come back. who knows.

alright, well im going to go. work might start up. by the way, super crazyness is happenng today at work. woo hoo.
