coachella weekend

i had a pretty good weekend at coachella.

Saturday morning we left San Diego for what would be a fantastic day ahead. hah. After getting there in only 2 hours (when suggested time said 2 hours and 55 mins...) we found our hotel, or should i say our resort.

man the hotel/resort was AHHHMAAAZZING. The place there was super bourgeousie (sp?). the room, not on high price days like this, is 450 a night. how freaking insane!

While waiting for our room to get ready we went and ate lunch at one of their little restaruants along a golf course and a cute little pond. There was a pool with a water slide. there were about 3 pools, and the place was HUGE.

our room was 311, which was pretty funny.

After lunch we went back to our hotel. It was a really nice room, with a KING sized bed. sweet. We dropped some things off, put on some sunscreen and left for coachella.

we didnt hit ANY traffic on the way in. And we immediatly met up with all our friends there. it was random and weird. we also got sweet parking. close to the entrance/exit. woo hoo.

we went in and we saw immortal technique with mike. that guy was really good, but pretty scary. he is all viva la revolucion, and i was there to have a good time. but he was super agro hating the world, although wanting to change it, but through violence, if necessary, which im not cool with.

after that i met up with molly, mike went to some dj stuff. i saw rilo kiley and def saw her ass because her dress was beyond tiny. soo funny. she was really good. although i only knew one song.

after that we were going to go watch some rap band, and i decied to call mike about them because i thought he would like them. i met up with mike, but molly dissapeared with skye, or really, i dont know what happened...hmm

After that i think i saw a few of mike's band. more hip hop, dj, electronic style.

now i dont really remember what i saw. i watched chemical brothers. blah. watched some bloc party which was pretty good.

we got ass tired at the end of the night, and went back a little early. like 11. we got out of traffic, we hit NONE on the way back. sweet.

We drank a little alcohol, and then went to sleep. we were VERY tired.

We woke up in the morning, and laid out in the sun in our pj's on our balcony right in front of a beautiful pond with ducks.

then we got dressed and got breakfast at ihop. mmm. after that we did a little shopping, then went back and laid out by the pool. it was really nice, and really romantic. and i didnt get too burnt, if at all. sweet. i actually have more color than white now. woo hoo.

After that we took a shower and went to subway. then we went to coachella, in time to see Beans, which was REALLY good. Then we saw teagan and sarah. woo hoo. they were really good.

after that we watched the end of beans, then ztrip, which wasnt terrible. i think after that we watched some of aesop rock. then we watched NIN! wow. is all i can say. after that i watched a few mins of the blood brothers and realized it was NOT worth missing the faint. blah, still not a fan, and the crowd didnt seem to think so either.

after that i watched the faint. mike left me halfway through to watch the rest of blood brothers, and something else, i dont rememebr. after the faint, which was amazing, i saw a few mins of prodigy. i saw them play firestarter, which was pretty cool. i think mike was there, but i never saw him, the crowd was HUGE. After that, i saw BRIGHT EYES. woo hoo! they were awesome, as per usual. i was alone for most of it, but mike came back during my favorite song on the cd they were playing off of that night, and we danced to it. and then to another. it was cute.

after that we left, after finding a shortcut and surpassing prob 30 mins of traffic. sweet. then we went to dennys. mmm. i got a brownie al la mode. mmm. we were dead tired there. we didnt get back until 230am, and mike passed out while i was in the shower.

we woke up this morning. laid out again in our pj's. packed up, and sadly left, after doing one more tour around the awesome hotel.

we drove back and on the way decided to check out cabazon, which is an outlet mall with puma and adidas. we didnt really find anything there, but i found a cheap work shirt looking thing that is originally 50 bucks for 17, including tax. sweet.

then we went to bakers. woo hoo. funny enough, it was on the street that gabe lives on. seriously, no joke. didnt see him though.

we got into a tift though after that because he talked about how he loved one of his friends who is a girl back from houston, and that they made a pact to get married a long time ago in 8th grade, but said yep we are engaged. gahhh. so i was pissed. he kinda cleared it up, i guess. like he loves her like he loves his best friend out there, not romantically at all. i dont know, weird shit. bothered the fuck out of me. and then i started to think about the rachel shit, and i just got in a really bad mood.

but i guess im over it now. whatever, that was SUPER lame of him to say to me. he knows it would make me mad. and the weekend was going super perfect before that. lame ass.

i got home, and picked up a package. it was mike's bday present. im glad its on time, but the frame is broken on it, so im kinda pissed. now i have to go get a new one for it. i paid a fuck load for it, so i really wish the frame was not broken. now i got to go spend more money.

and teddy called me today and tried to bitch me out for not meeting her after class. i was driving home still, grr. that pissed me off. dont try to yell at me like your my boyfriend/girlfriend. lame. whatever.

oh wait... funny moments of the trip. One girl was running with a tiny ass skirt, and wearing a backpack. her backpack made her skirt ride up and she was running around (literally) with her ass jiggling around. HILARIOUS! then... i saw this girl come out of the bathroom, or rather porta potty, and the front of her ass skirt was tucked into her underwear. ohhh man... that made me laugh hardcore. and then... this girl and guy were fighting by the bathrooms. and she decides after yelling at him and fist fighting him to take off her pants, without underwear on. yea, i def saw girl crotch. funny. and then we look back one second later and she is on top of this guy on the ground, humping the shit out of him... i swear it was all super porn star shit... man... weird...

so overall, it was an amazing weekend, except for mike's stupid shit about his friend. now its time to be back to the grind.

i have a dentist appointment tomorrow at 8am. not too excited about that. i think im going to go watch the rockets game at mike's in an hour or so. and then its mike's bday this week and im not sure what im going to do for him. i got his present already, although part of it is fucked up. should we go out to dinner? should he go out with friends? i dont know... whatever. he isnt too excited about his birthday.
